Rollerdor Sponsors Local Beer Festival

Here at Rollerdor, we’re always looking for new ways to support our local community and get involved in initiatives that help those in the region.

Over the years we have supported numerous local charities here in Norwich and the wider Norfolk region, and this summer we’re proud to throw our weight behind the upcoming North Walsham Beer Festival.  

Rollerdor will be one of the event’s official sponsors as it showcases a wide range of local beer and cider while raising money for worthy causes. 

What is the North Walsham Beer Festival?

Each year, the North Walsham Beer Festival brings the people of Norfolk together for a community event in the town of North Walsham.

The best brewers in the local area are always in attendance, providing guests with the opportunity to sample local beer, cider, wine, gin and rum. 

This year’s event is set to take place on 9th-10th August at North Walsham Memorial Park, and in addition to the range of local brews on display, visitors are sure to be thoroughly entertained by the range of musical performances that will be taking place across the weekend.

Headlining the 2024 event is former BBC radio presenter and famous DJ Dave Pearce who will be performing his set of Ibiza dance anthems from 9pm on Friday 9th August. 

Each year, the beer festival is organised by the registered charity Round Table, which encourages a group of men aged 18-45 to socialise and raise money for good causes in the region. 

With this in mind, 100% of the money raised at the beer festival will be donated to charitable causes.

Last year, more than £10,000 was raised at the beer festival, with the money divided between a number of causes including helping families with terminally ill children pay their bills during the cost of living crisis and support for local scout groups.
